Financing Thailand’s Just Transition: Bridging Mitigation, Adaptation and Social Equity

Climate Finance Network Thailand (CFNT) ร่วมกับ Asia Research and Engagement (ARE), Singapore ขอเชิญผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมงานเสวนา “Financing Thailand’s Just Transition: Bridging Mitigation, Adaptation and Social Equity” ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงาน Bangkok Climate Action Week 2026

เวทีเสวนาครั้งนี้จะชวนพูดคุยถึงบทบาทของ การเงินเพื่อการเปลี่ยนผ่านอย่างยุติธรรม (Just Transition Finance) และตั้งคำถามสำคัญว่า เมื่อภาคการเงินเข้ามามีบทบาทในการรับมือกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ความเสี่ยงและต้นทุนของการเปลี่ยนผ่านควรถูกจัดการอย่างไร เพื่อไม่ให้ตกอยู่กับแรงงาน ชุมชน และกลุ่มคนที่มีความสามารถในการรับความเสี่ยงน้อยที่สุด

การเสวนาจะมุ่งเน้น 2 ประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่

**มาตรการคุ้มครองทางสังคมในด้านการเงินเพื่อการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก (Mitigation Finance)

พิจารณาว่ากรอบการเงินเพื่อการเปลี่ยนผ่านสามารถสร้างหลักประกันและการคุ้มครองที่เป็นรูปธรรมให้แก่แรงงานและชุมชนได้อย่างไร

**การเงินเพื่อการปรับตัวต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (Adaptation Finance)

สำรวจแนวทางการจัดสรรเงินทุนเพื่อการปรับตัวที่ครอบคลุมและไม่ผลักภาระความเสี่ยงไปยังกลุ่มคนที่มีความสามารถในการรับมือกับผลกระทบน้อยที่สุด

ภายในงานยังมีการนำเสนอ Thailand Climate Finance Tracker และภาพรวมภูมิทัศน์การเงินด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศของประเทศไทย รวมถึงการเสวนาและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับผู้เข้าร่วมงาน

Join the Public Panel Discussion: “Financing Thailand’s Just Transition”

Financing Thailand’s Just Transition: Bridging Mitigation, Adaptation and Social Equity

Climate Finance Network Thailand (CFNT), together with Asia Research and Engagement (ARE), Singapore, invites you to join a public panel discussion as part of Bangkok Climate Action Week 2026.

The session will explore the role of Just Transition Finance in Thailand and ask a critical question: as financial institutions play an increasing role in the climate transition, how can risks and costs be addressed so that they do not fall disproportionately on workers, communities, and people who are least able to bear them?

The discussion will focus on two key themes:

**Social safeguards in mitigation finance

Exploring how transition finance frameworks can provide meaningful safeguards for workers and communities affected by the shift towards a low-carbon economy.

**Inclusive adaptation finance

Discussing how climate adaptation finance can reach those most vulnerable to climate impacts without shifting risks and costs onto the people least able to carry them.

The programme will also feature a presentation on the Thailand Climate Finance Tracker and the climate finance landscape, followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A, as well as a research presentation and discussion led by ARE.
