Previously, summonses have been issued to the alleged offenders to turn themselves in on 8 June 2016 in the case between the Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 Forward (ISOC Region 4) and Mr. Somchai Homlaor and others. Given that the attorney has just been appointed by the alleged offenders and more time is needed to verify the information and other evidence, the request will make to defer the meeting between the alleged offenders and the inquiry official. The attorney also wishes to accompany them to meet with the inquiry official. In addition, the attorney also asked if the public prosecutor would have advance witness examination, the inquiry official is asked to keep the accused persons informed of the date for the advance examination since two of the three alleged offenders live in Bangkok and the other one in Songkhla. To ensure that justice is served and the three alleged offenders have enough time to prepare their defence, the request to postpone the meeting is rescheduled to Tuesday 26 July 2016 at 13.00 at the Muang Pattani Police Station.
